Conditions of Reservation

Dear customer,

Through our online booking service, you are contracting accommodation subject to the following conditions:
 

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

1.1 This service is only for adults with the legal capacity to contract the services offered on this website. The user is aware of and expressly accepts these conditions.

1.2 In general, the availability and price of any request for special services that cannot be included in the online reservation will remain pending confirmation by the hotel.

1.3 User registration: users must register their personal information to contract services on this website. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the data they provide during registration. Zafiro Hotels is not responsible for any consequences that may arise from the introduction of false or incorrect information. Users also undertake to safeguard usernames and passwords that allow access to the My Zafiro service. Zafiro Hotels will not be responsible for any damages resulting from the improper use of usernames and passwords by third parties.

1.4 Regarding personal information provided by users, users expressly accept that Zafiro Hotels will:

a) Add the information to an automated personal data file to correctly provide the contracted service.

b) Communicate the information to third parties when this is required to correctly provide the contracted service.

c) Use the information for commercial and promotional purposes to inform users about possible special offers or other communications.

1.4.1 Users who wish to refuse that Zafiro Hotels may carry out the aforementioned activities must state their wishes by e-mail to ecommerce@zafirohotels.com.

In accordance with Law 15/1999 (LOPD) on Personal Data Protection, we inform users that their personal data will be added to a file owned by Inversiones Plomer, SL. Users authorize the use and transfer of this data and accept the conditions stated on the Zafiro Hotels website (www.zafirohotels.com).

Users may exercise their rights to access, rectify or delete their data by mail, attaching a copy of their ID card or passport, to Inversiones Plomer, SL, C/Mar i Estany, 35, Puerto de Alcudia, Mallorca, or by e-mail to lopd@zafirohotels.com (the company responsible for data processing).

1.5 On arrival at the hotel, you must present your online reservation confirmation in reception. Full payment for the booking must be made on arrival, unless the booking has already been paid in advance.

1.6 When you book online, a credit card number must be provided to guarantee the booking, except for bookings with special conditions such as non-refundable rates or travel agency reservations, for which prepayment is required.

1.7 The total booking price includes sales taxes unless stated otherwise. Any other tax that may affect its final price must be paid in the hotel. You can find more information on the Tourist Tax here.

1.8 In general, and unless expressly agreed otherwise, rooms may be used (subject to availability) after 2pm on arrival day and up to 12 noon on departure day. Bookings are guaranteed until 6pm on arrival day. If customers expect to arrive at a time other than those indicated, they are advised to inform the hotel in advance.

1.9 Offers will be valid only for the period defined by Zafiro Hotels in its advertising or, failing that, during the time they are available to users for purchase.
 

2. CANCELLATION POLICY

2.1 Bookings guaranteed with a credit card.

2.1.1 The hotel reserves the right to validate the card. If the card is invalid, users will be asked by phone or email to provide a new card within 24 hours. If the second card is also invalid, the booking will be cancelled.

2.1.2 Bookings can be cancelled free of charge if the cancellation is made within the period defined in the cancellation policy. Cancellations may be made by providing the booking number by email to info@zafirohotels.com or by phone at +34 971897008, or alternatively through the MyZafiro section on the website.

2.1.3 Cancellations made outside the free cancellation period will incur the expenses defined for each rate.

2.1.4 If guests do not arrive at the hotel on the expected arrival day without prior notice, a charge will be made for the entire stay.

2.2 Bookings at non-refundable rates: non-refundable rates do not allow a refund of the amount paid under any circumstances. The total amount for the booking will be charged when the booking is confirmed, regardless of the arrival date.

2.3 If Zafiro Hotels is required to cancel the booking for reasons of force majeure, due to abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the company and whose consequences could not have been avoided despite the company having acted with all necessary due diligence, customers will not retain any right to claim compensation. Should this occur, it will be communicated, if possible, through the same channel used to make the booking.
 

3. MODIFICATION POLICY

3.1 Bookings guaranteed with a credit card:

3.1.1 Bookings may only be modified by sending an email to info@zafirohotels.com, indicating the booking number. Booking modifications are subject to room availability, applying the price and conditions in force at the time the modification request is made.

3.2 Bookings at non-refundable rates cannot be modified.
 

4. CUSTOMER RIGHTS

4.1 All information provided to customers will be binding for the offeror under the terms defined by consumer protection legislation.

4.2 All users of tourist services have the right to receive goods and services of the category and legal requirements that they have purchased or of a quality that is directly proportional to the category of the tourist establishment.

4.3 All tourist establishments must provide a complaint register. To make a complaint, ask for the register, provide your personal information and clearly indicate the reason for the complaint.
 

5. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

When using tourist services, users have the following obligations:

5.1 Pay the price of the contracted services. The presentation of a complaint or claim does not exempt users from this obligation.

5.2 Comply with the rules of the hotel whose services they enjoy.

5.3 Comply with rules on hygiene, good manners and good behaviour in regard to other customers and hotel staff.

5.4 Respect the environment.

6. Zafiro Hotels reserves the right to make any modifications it considers appropriate to these conditions.

7. The customer accepts that the service is subject to Spanish law and accepts the jurisdiction of the courts of Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands) for the resolution of any conflict arising from the interpretation and application of this contract.
